This course teaches the purpose and features of the Chain of Responsibility, who has been identified as a party of the legislation, how to identify CoR breaches and penalties related to the breaches and in-depth knowledge and understanding of the tasks and responsibilities employers have within the Chain of Responsibility. Learners will also be taught why the Chain of Responsibility exists, why off-road parties can be held accountable for offences that happen on-road, the skills to identify CoR breaches in a range of scenarios, both relating to their role directly and in broader situations, the control methods which should be in place relating to their role and how to apply and recognise the functions of the control methods.
